ROCKLEIGH, NJ – The Volvo XC90 luxury SUV is a Must-Have Certified Preowned Car, according to Autotrader, the most recognized third-party car listings brand.
The 2016 XC90 was the first all-new Volvo in the luxury carmaker’s bold plan to remake its entire product line-up. The seven-seat SUV, with available all-wheel-drive and 400 horsepower Plug-In Hybrid Electric propulsion system, would go on to collect more than 100 awards from around the world, including 2016 Motor Trend SUV of the Year and 2016 North American Truck/Utility of the Year.
It is the 2016 to 2018 model years Autotrader called “Good as New: 10 Best Luxury CPO Cars for 2019.”

There has been a bit of uncertainty about conforming and non-conforming tires on new Volvo sold by US Military Sales.
Cars purchased from Volvo US Military Sales fully comply with USA specifications. That means that your Volvo meets all US Department of Transportation and EPA regulations for the model year it was built. This allows you to register your Volvo in all 50 states with no alterations.
This is not true for all European countries. A lot depends on the host nation’s Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA) whether you must alter your car to conform to the host nation’s regulations. In [...]

(Kaiserslautern, Germany) – January 30, 2019 – Capitol Motors received an early morning surprise when the transporter was unloading a shipment of new XC60 models. On the transporter was an all-new Volvo S60 T5 R-Design in Fusion Red metallic destined for our colleagues in Gothenburg, Sweden. The all-new S60 is produced at Volvo’s first USA factory in Ridgeville, SC (Charleston, SC) and while our US Volvo dealer colleagues have their demo cars, US Military Sales must wait until model-year 2020 which begins in May 2019.

(ROCKLEIGH, N.J.) – September 27, 2018 – Volvo Car USA is partnering with Destination Maternity Corporation (NASDAQ: DEST), the world’s largest designer and retailer of maternity apparel, during this year’s Child Passenger Safety Week (September 23-29) to provide critical information on how to drive safely while pregnant and how to properly select and install car seats.
Based on a recent survey, conducted by The Harris Poll on behalf of Volvo, only 68% of mothers know how to properly wear a seat belt while pregnant (i.e., with the seatbelt across their belly). One in four (37%) admit they sometimes wore their seatbelt incorrectly while driving because it was too uncomfortable, while a quarter say they sometimes did not wear a seatbelt at all for that same reason (25%).

HILTON HEAD, SC (November 5, 2018) Volvo Car USA and tennis legend Stan Smith helped raise more than $10,000 for kids and students this past weekend by turning sneakers into art at the 2018 Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance.
South Carolina artist Amiri Farris, Pixar Animation Studios designers Jay Ward (Cars) and Jay Shuster (Wall-E), and Volvo Car’s own Head of Design, Robin Page, each created their own unique, hand-made art pieces out of classic adidas® Stan Smith tennis shoes inspired by the new Volvo XC40 compact crossover luxury SUV. It was all part of the #ArtMoves exhibit at the Concours.
